Across the room, you see a mother and daughter who, until moments ago, looked rather close. However, their current actions proved otherwise. The mother, Rosa, was harshly scolding her daughter, Maria, even slapping her pale cheeks when necessary. As you look on in horror, she yells at her one final time, before spinning on her heels, turning towards you. She begins walking your direction. You feel your body become tense. As she walks over, her fierce expression transformes into a sweet smile.

"Hello, I'm Ushiromiya Rosa." She greets you with a gentle, yet still serious tone. This person and the one who had been scolding her daughter, had to have been two completely different people. Even her daughter seemed to be completely fine. It was almost as if nothing had ever happened.

"I am the youngest of the four children of Ushiromiya Kinzo. Ah, who might you be...?"

Before you get the chance to answer, her daughter, Maria, pipes in. She begins making an 'uu' sound which had gotten her into trouble before. I prayed in the back of my mind that she would stop saying this word, as I couldn't stand to see her mother get angry again.

"Maria I told you to stop making that noise..." this only makes Maria cry 'uu uu' louder.

"I TOLD YOU TO STOP MAKING THAT ANNOYING SOUND!" with that, Rosa slapped Maria's delicate cheek, which was still stained red from the last incident, once more.

She grabs Maria's tiny wrist, you grimace as Maria lets out a small cry.

"Lets go Maria, we're leaving now." Maria pulls back in fear of her mother. "I SAID WE'RE GOING!" she replies.

Rosa stomps out of the hallway and into the closest room, still pulling Maria by the wrist, and slams the door loudly.

You walk away, hearing only the muffled sounds of Rosa's yelling...
